This zine acts as a homage to the Lana Del Rey song, “Born to Die,” one of my all-time favorite songs. I used Adobe Photoshop to alter images and Adobe Illustrator to edit my own hand-drawn elements, giving it my own personal touch. By merging photography with my illustrations and handwriting, I was able to complement the serious message of the song with my personal relationship to the lyrics. This zine presents the song in a new light that helps the reader visualize the song's emotion, as well as gives a better sense of the singer's personality.
