CITIZEN

32-page, 8.5 x 11" Book, 2017

The goal of this publication was to use an archival source and repurpose it using the techniques of detournement and culture jamming. By utilizing only copied/plundered material from the original source, I was able to create a political agenda and clear narrative of how I have encountered homelessness throughout the various districts of San Francisco. This book helps the audience understand what it's really like to live in San Francisco amongst homeless people, inevitably encountering them every day.
