This zine was a personal project, that acts as a homage to the Lana Del Rey song, “Born to Die,” one of my all-time favorite songs. I did the illustrations and handwriting myself, giving it my own personal touch. I also played with merging photography with illustration to complement the serious message of the song with my personal relationship to the lyrics. This zine presents the song in a new light that helps the reader visualize the song's emotion, as well as get a better understanding of the singer's personality.
